Wow Alli, it took you long enough to come back to blogging. What happened?
Well, I made some life changes. I am still as passionate as ever about my career path — graphic artistry and Alli’s Studio is continuing to thrive. Design drives me and feeds my soul and I count my blessings each day that I have found a niche that keeps those fires stoked.
Over the moon excited was my reaction when up and coming author, J.D. Shaw contacted me about designing the book cover for his new novel, Easy Bake Coven, the first in a series of novels from the Vivienne Finch Magical Mysteries. Once I saw some samples of other covers that was in keeping with his vision, I knew it was kismet, especially when he stated he wanted the background to be a “rich deep purple.”
Ever since I was a young girl, fairies and their woodland kin (sprites, devas, elves, gnomes, angels…) have delighted me. One of my goals when I started my Etsy shop was to offer clients the ability to customize a fairy for that someone special. After a few months of working on profiles, hair styles, and all the custom elements (hair color, eye color, lip color, etc.), I am ready to unveil the Personalized Fairy.
I’m so excited about the developments of late…the launch of my design business, Alli’s Studio.

And in this wonderful format — a blog, I would like to share with you some of my joy…the joy of creativity, the joy of inspiration, the joy of whimsy. I wholeheartedly live by my mantra “To Create Is Divine,” and I hope you will find some divine joy in the passages and images I will share with you during my creative journey.
